Well, there we go. Swine flu is taking over. The H1N1 virus is in
Canada, and now we're doomed.

 

 

Oh wait.

I almost forgot to mention that this is just a new version of the regular old disease known as the flu, and we're perfectly capable of stopping it. The only reason to be scared is the people who may drive you insane with their inane rambling about the "danger" of this disease. The reason that lots of people are dying is simple: Poor health conditions. Mexico does not have the healthcare power of Canada and the U.S., and therefore is more capable of getting a bad viral infection from the virus. The flu is at the same danger level as H1N1, because, you see, it IS possible to die from the regular flu, just like the new snazzy version of the classic disease. The main fear factor is the major media influence. The major news networks like CNN are acting like this is the apocalypse. The very dangerous infections weren't very important in the list of newsmakers, because if you remember SARS, you will notice that the media is blowing this WAY out of proportion. SARS was a disease which created severe respiratory problems. H1N1 is a minor flu epidemic.

Now tell me, is it really that bad?

This is another post typed, another update made, another media affair overdone. This is Willdood, signing off while news anchors are signing in.

All right, my theory was right. It was my friend and my other friend who were playing a joke on me. But, unfortunately, they stopped, and now somebody is REALLY stalking me. The posts are getting wierder, and the messages are getting more and more disturbing. So, since it was taken too far, I'm going to have to say that no more posts will be let in unless they're completely rational. If I get no more stalker posts for the next two weeks, I will take the site off lockdown, but for now, everything is filtered. Mildly.

As you may or may not knoe, one of my friends wants to start a blog, and I said that it was a bad idea. I decided to put her to the test with my new column: Showcase column. Every week, a new person will get a blog, bio, or whatever, and all YOU have to do to get one is send an application (and a first post if you are going to write a blog)through the Contact tab and I may or may not send you a reply telling you that you will get a test column. But remember, always add your e-mail in the Contact Sheet if you want me to be able to reply. This week's showcase will be one of my friends, her pseudonym will be Snowy Snowflake Girl (It's not my fault :P), and her first post will be coming within the hour.
